The original idea of SchoolyWeds.com came about during the planning of my own wedding - somewhat late in the planning process, it occurred to me that we could have cut some of our costs considerably, and avoided the dreaded “wedding tax”, if we’d considered seeking out skilled student wedding services.
After carrying out a little research it soon became clear that I was onto something, as it appears our colleges and universities are heaving with willing and talented practitioners in many of the services required for a wedding, or any other kind of celebration for that matter. Better still, many are willing to undercut the professionals in order to build their own brand and portfolio for the future, not to mention earning some extra cash for themselves.
So, we’re here to provide a mutually beneficial meeting place for students and wedding planners to get together and help each other out, check out our listings to find some fresh and exciting wedding ideas.
